Juan Diego
Saint Juan Diego Lived
in Tepeyac, Mexico and was visited by La Virgen Guadalupe while
on his way to mass one December morning in the year 1531. She
spoke to him with love and gave him instructions which he followed
diligently, as best he could. Juan
Diego's indian name means "The eagle who speaks". He helped spread
the word of God.
This altar is made
of recycled wood that was painted with blues and oranges and then
aged. The inside trim of yucca cactus spides from our rancho.
The headplate is wood and has a metal cross top. Put together
con amor at Rancho No Tengo, Texas.
