Saint Juan Diego Lived in Tepeyac, Mexico and was visited by La Virgen Guadalupe while on his way to mass one December morning in the year 1531. She spoke to him with love and gave him instructions which he followed diligently, as best he could. Juan Diego's indian name means "The eagle who speaks". He helped spread the word of God.

This altar is made of recycled wood that was painted with blues and oranges and then aged. The inside trim of yucca cactus spides from our rancho. The headplate is wood and has a metal cross top. Put together con amor at Rancho No Tengo, Texas.
