Zapata
Zapata
Emiliano Zapata
August 8, 1879 - April 10, 1919

El  Padre de Revolucion de Mexico. "Viva, Zapata!" is still be heard today.

Joe hand painted this photo of Zapata, a man that spent much of his life on a horse, on the move, fighting for what he belived in. The altar wood, from an old West Texas railroad bridge, has been aged, painted and cured in the Hot Sun of Texas. We trimmed the photo in cactus stalks and crafted the headplate from a bottom of a bushel basket.
